Not going to lie to you, I didn’t really see that coming. Michael Wacha’s return to the rotation went as well as anyone could have hoped. Huzzah!
But, not even a starting pitcher who tosses a shutout can walk away with a win unless the hitters, you know, hit.
Did that happen? Did Kolten Wong needlessly bunt again? Did the Cardinals find a way to out-score one of the weakest offenses in the league?
